PROUDLY SERVING

The Smith Family

Britton Smith's  Chick-fil-A Journey began in high school in Cincinnati, where he spent 6 years as a Team Member through high school and college. He was looking for a meaningful career that would allow him to teach and minister to others while pursuing entrepreneurial endeavors, so a career as a Chick-fil-A Owner/Operator became his career goal. He then apprenticed for a Chick-fil-A Franchisee in Lexington,KY - learning how to run and operate a restaurant while helping open Chick-fil-A restaurants around the country. In 2006, he became a Chick-fil-A franchisee and has been serving in Newport since 2013.

Core Ideology

CORPORATE PURPOSE

“To glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us and to have a positive influence on all who come into contact with Chick-fil-A.”

OUR PURPOSE

We exist to make the lives of others better by developing people who serve and who seek to make an impact beyond themselves.

OUR VISION

To be a beacon of light where our team, our guests, and our community feel

known, loved, and cared for.

CORE VALUES

SERVE

We are selfless. We don’t think less of ourselves, just less often.

HUSTLE

We are relentless and give 100% in all we do.

We’re willing to get sweaty and dirty.

LAUGH

We are positive, energetic, and respectful.

If we aren’t having fun, we’re doing it wrong.

CHALLENGE

We are willing to be wrong and learn from it.

We hold each other accountable to our Core Ideology.

EXCELLENCE

If we do something, we do it with excellence.

If it’s not yet excellent, we challenge each other to make it excellent.

RESILIENCE

We get knocked down and get back up again better than before.

"A business, successful or not, is merely

a reflection of the character of its leadership."
